38 Weeks

Well I am 38 weeks and officially ready to be done with pregnancy. Today I went to put on some scrub pants that used to be super huge on me and I could barely get them on. Super depressing! I am just ready to have him out and have my body back. As of my last appointment I am not dilated at all and my doctor thinks it is going to be a couple of weeks till he comes. Hopefully that will change this coming Tuesday. If not I may cry, or get really angry haha. Except for the uncomfortableness and the fact that my clothes won't fit. Everything is going well. My blood pressure is good, my weight is good and so far I still have ankles. Logan is doing wonderful as well. He is head down and at a -1 station, meaning he is getting ready to come!
36 or 37 weeks I can't remember
Luckily I have Tyson's clothes to wear or else I would be really miserable!

As you can see from the above picture, we finally finished the dresser:
Logan's Nursery
I am really pleased with how it turned out and it was fun working on it with Tyson. I also made this:

Who knew I could be crafty? The quote is from Christopher Robin to Pooh and it says "Promise me you'll always remember: you're braver than you believe and stronger than you seem and smarter than you think." I don't think I like it with the white back ground and I might change it to brown with white or light blue lettering. What do you think?

As for the exciting happenings of lately, I was thrown two baby showers. One by my wonderful sister-in-laws and one by my coworkers. Unfortunately I only have a few pictures from the one my SILs threw. The one at work was a complete surprise. We had a "meeting" that day and I was ten minutes late to it. I walked in and everyone was super excited to see me which I thought was weird. I sat down and someone had to point out all the baby stuff and tell me it was a shower for me haha. We were loaded with stuff at both showers and are so grateful to everyone for all that they have done for us.
My SIL Angela made this for the shower

My SIL Heather made this awesome bib! She is super talented!

Tyson was most excited about this and yes we have already used it for ourselves :)
Tyson and I celebrated Valentines the Saturday before the 14th. Tyson suprised me with a gift card for a  pregnancy massage (it was wonderful!) and we went out to eat at Outback and saw the new Sherlock Holmes movie and just enjoyed spending the day with each other. It's crazy that it will be our last Valentines with just the two of us. I am so grateful for Tyson and all that he does for me and Logan. He is going to be the best dad ever.
Although I complain about being pregnant, I really don't have anything to complain about. Life is good and we can't wait for Logan to get here. We just hope it is sooner rather than later :)

  4. You're telling me you were late for your own baby shower? I hope you don't show up late to the birthing of your baby. That'd be awkward.

  5. I wish I could come see him the day he is born instead of 3 months later. Let's skype soon before he comes.
