2 Months, a Blessing, an Update, and a Windnado

Logan is almost 3 months old, but here are his 2 month stats anyway:
Height: 23 inches (52%)
Weight: 11 pounds 8 ounces (44%, I'm almost positive he weighs over 12 pounds now)
Head Circumference: 15 inches (12%)
Logan is such a happy baby. He loves to play and talk mostly to Tyson and I, but he is starting to do it more to other people. Most of the time he just gives strangers the stare down. He still loves to kick so we bought him a baby gym with a piano keyboard that he can kick and he loves it. He also loves to smile at himself in the little mirror. It's super cute and I'm so glad he has something else to kick besides my chest. He loves to stand up and push off things. He has been bearing weight on his legs for quite sometime now. When he is done playing he always wants to cuddle. I love how cuddly he is and hope he stays cuddly for at least a little while longer. He has recently discovered his hands and will just stare at them until he goes cross eyed. He is also becoming more and more aware of his surroundings. He loves to people watch and continues to be very alert. I just love seeing him grow and develop, and watching his personality start to develop. I can seriously spend all day laying on the floor playing with him. I just love him so much!
I was looking at pictures of him when he was just a newbie and I can't believe how much he has grown and changed already and it hit me that I need to spend as much time soaking in this baby stage because soon it will be gone! So enjoy some (maybe a lot) of pictures of my little man!

A bronco fan in the heart of Big Red!

He loves getting his diaper changed

He loves bath time and gets mad when he has to get out

Logan was blessed on May 6th and Tyson did a wonderful job! We forgot to bring our camera. So we took pictures with our computer at home. Which is okay cause it was super windy anyway. Also. Logan was blessed in the same outfit my little brother was blessed in! We can't wait for Carson to get back from his mission and meet Logan, who, from what my mom says, acts a lot like him!

As for Tyson and I the Sno Shack will be up and running June 15th. We had some complications with our previous location and with the city of Omaha, but we have been lucky to find a new location in Papillion off 84th and Lincoln (a much better location too!). For those of you Nebraska people it will be in the Papillion bowling alley parking lot, right by the Papio pool and fun park. So make sure to tell all your friends and family about us, like us on Facebook and come get a sno cone!
I just finished my last job and am currently looking for a night job. I loved my last job, but I hated being away from him during the day, so hopefully I will find something that I enjoy and that will work with my mommy schedule :)

While life hasn't been easy lately I am grateful for loving friends and family, an amazing husband and for my Heavenly Father and Savior. It is amazing to me that something seems like a trial and ends up becoming a blessing. I am so grateful that my Heavenly Father is always looking out for me and my family and guides and directs us to what is best in life.

Tyson and I are excited (a little scared also) for this new adventure in our life and we know that things will work out how they are supposed to.

On a side note...one of the joys of living in Nebraska is tornadoes. Since living here we have had several tornado watches, only one super serious one which turned out to be nothing. Well the other day I had just finished feeding Logan and I got up to go outside and check on my tomato plant (it's growing wonderfully I might add) and see if needed any watering. I looked out the back door and there was a questionable looking cloud staring back at me. Right while I am looking at the cloud a special newscast comes on saying they are watching this cloud (they show a picture) for a possible tornado. I notice that the cloud on the t.v. is the same cloud I am looking at outside. I get a little freaked out because Tyson is not home and I am thinking I have no idea what to freaking do in a tornado! Luckily Tyson gets home as I am finishing this thought. We then decide to go outside and take some pictures of this cloud (crazy huh, but everyone in NE does it). While we are taking pictures the cloud starts spinning! Freaky but kind of cool at the same time. Anyway it ends up going right over us without producing a tornado. You can bet I prayed some prays of thanks for that one! Oh how I miss Idaho somedays!
Oh and the weatherman said that it was a windnado not a tornado. In case you are wondering a windnado is a cross between a tornado and a dust devil, who woulda thought.
