Christmas in Omaha

Eventhough it didn't feel much like Christmas because of the lack of snow and 50 degree weather, we still had a great Christmas. Tyson's family usually has a Chirstmas breakfast together and this year we did it on Christmas Eve because everyone had church at different times. I forgot my camera again :( but we had a good time eating and playing games with the fam. Later that night we got together again to eat the traditional Christmas Eve santa shakes (peppermint ice cream with egg nog). It sounds disgusting but they are the best thing ever! I begin craving them as soon as it gets cold out. We then played some more games and watched a Christmas movie and then went to look at some of the lights around Omaha. This time I remembered my camera! Aren't you proud of me, cause you should be :).
Some of the family on Christmas Eve

Christmas was the best! Tyson and I spent the morning and afternoon celebrating just the two of us and then in the evening got together with his family again. Tyson woke me up on Christmas morning at 7 and then brought the presents into the bedroom because he knew I wouldn't be getting up anytime soon haha. My parents (who are so awesome) got us a Kindle Touch. It was such a surprise! We didn't think we would be getting anything like that. So mom and dad, thank you thank you thank you again!
Our nephew Richard got a remote control helicopter for Christmas. It is pretty sweet and it kept the boys entertained. Tyson is convinced that he needs one now and so does Logan hahaha. Here are som pictures of them playing with it. Our nephew Ben actually managed to land it on the ceiling fan and our niece Jaiden came super close. It really was quite entertaining.

Yesterday Tyson and I spent the day working on Logan's dresser. Here our some pictures. We just have to add a couple more coats of paint and do some finishing touches and we are done! It has been fun working on it with Tyson.
The dresser is a light blue even though it looks white in the picture

As for a pregnancy update. Everything is going well. I am 29 weeks and will be 30 weeks on Friday. I passed my glucose test thankfully so I definitely ate all the sweets I wanted during Christmas :). I finally had a big weight gain and my doctor is so happy and said that he knew it would happen around this time. As for me I'm glad Logan is getting what he needs but I'd prefer to not look at the scale haha. Logan's kicks and punches are getting stronger and sometimes I can see or feel a little foot or arm. My prego belly has grown in the last week and I'm having a hard time fitting into some of the shirts I used to wear all the time. I don't have a picture, sorry, but I will have plenty after my sister's wedding and trip to Idaho. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and a wonderful week!
